POL CARE Summer Meals Program through Texarkana Harvest Regional Food Bank provides nutritious meals at no cost to children in low-income communities when school is not in session.

Target Group: All children and teens (age 18 and under) can receive meals at no cost.

Qualifications to Participate: Participating families do not have to apply register or provide identification.

Research has shown that when the school year ends, children often lose access to daily nutritious and consistent meals, but the Summer Meals Program ensures that children have enough food for an active, strong and healthy life.
